Precious Angel
by Tara Emerson
You were our wish come true. We gave you life; we even named you.
Emily Priscilla Hyten, our precious love. You flew in our lives like a beautiful dove.
When you looked at us for your first sight. We knew we loved you with all out might.
To see your little hands and hear you breath. We hoped that you would never leave.
We smiled with our pearly whites. We worried about you days and nights.
Your heart was extremely ill. You were a fighter; you had the will.
We felt your heart was gold. I thought u seemed very bold.
From the moment of our last sigh. We felt so lost hearted; we didn't get to say goodbye.
Emily, we lost you in our vision, but not in our souls. You will always be with us to help fill the holes.
Your up in the sky. With God by your side.
He is rocking you in his kind arm. For there I know you're not in any harm.
You will be safe. As long as we have faith
