Ray Herwig, owner and operator of Ray's Real Log Homes, began constructing houses in 1957, while attending college, and has been involved in the construction of hundreds of houses since then. In 1979 he helped some friends build their new log home. That was the his first experience with log homes and led to his construction of several more. While he was gaining experience building log homes, Ray also attended several seminars instructing him how to design and build log homes successfully.
In 1989 Real Log Homes® authorized him to become one of their representatives. Since then he has earned several awards distinguishing him in this field. Included in these are awards for Special Design, Million Dollar Sales, Outstanding Performance, and a Manager's Circle Award.
Ray's Real Log Homes offers a variety of services to meet your log home needs. In addition to selling log home kits, we:
1. Provide construction needs with our own crew from partial to full construction of your new log home. Our building crew is also equipped to travel large areas to build or repair log homes.
2. Inspect log homes for the benefit of future owners.
3. Inspect and provide repair and maintenance for log homes.
