Current Construction

The log home in Cadet, MO is coming along nicely! We had great weather for awhile, but then winter came with snow and water! Despite the elements, we have accomplished a great deal:

1. Roughed-in electric and plumbing

2. Interior walls with wood facing

3. Geo-therm furnace installed and operational

The next steps include spraying the clear finish on the inside, applying stone to the fireplace and chimney, installing brazillian cypress flooring, trimming windows and hanging the inside doors

As always, we welcome folks to come by and see the building process. Please call and tell us when you can come!

We are also busy with many log home up-grades. These include:

We are very thankful for the safety of all our family and friends during the recent Missouri/Illinois storms. Thanks to all our old and new friends who stopped by the St. Charles Home Show. We enjoy meeting and talking with all of you each year.

At Ray's Log Homes, we are on the finishing stages of the Cadet, MO home. This home has some special designs that makes it one of the many unique log homes we have constructed.

It is an understatement to say things are in the midst of a big change here in our country. The good news about this is that interest rates are still rather low aa are materials costs. As things pick up again, we can expect the normal return to higher interest rates, shortage of building materials and much high prices. We have been in this business for many years and have seen these changes before.
